It’s a Conspiracy!
It must be! I refuse to believe otherwise.
Having received an interesting missive from Nozzy, a former House servant who had recently — unwillingly or not, I’ve not yet learned — returned to the fold, I expectantly went to the mailbox this evening to see what treasures awaited me. I carefully tucked away the gold from my recent Auction House ventures and tossed aside the reminders of Al’shar debts long since due1 and cautiously removed a rather light package. Glancing around warily2, I slid one slender finger gently inside and peeled back the flap to reveal the contents within.
And what did I find?

As if Tallaa’s antics were not enough, but now the damned orcling is doing it too! Does no one recognize the sanctity of the Arcane Arts? Or, if not that, the majesty of House Al’shar? Here we are, scrabbling to reclaim our former eminence within sin’dorei society and they play games. Games!
Still, the Light Feathers do have their uses and I shall have to have Nozzy compensated for his efforts and forward-thinking. However, if I find that my youngest sister is behind this mischief, there will be repercussions.
On A Heavier Note
Draccos, the good friend of mine that I mentioned in “Your Success in Molten Core Awaits” and who has replied frequently on this site, recently sent me a message telling me that his World of Warcraft account had been compromised and its status is rather uncertain at the moment. I’m collecting information to help him in his efforts to reclaim his account, but the damage has most likely already be done and I’m furious that this happened to a damned fine friend of mine.
It might sound odd given the fact that World of Warcraft players interact with strings of code, things that aren’t even tangible items, but the feelings of violation that result when an account is hacked are no less real. I’m genuinely heartbroken that this happened to him3 and am trying to do everything that I can to help him get things back together and then assess the damage.
I do know, however, that I’m buying him one of the Blizzard Authenticators once they become available again. I’d planned on throwing together a belated graduation package4, but now I have further incentive.
